Hanabi Natsubayashi (夏林花火, Natsubayashi Hanabi) is a supporting character and one of the heroines in the Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun series. Nicknamed "Tama" by her friends, Hanabi is a blunt and unsociable classmate of Fumiya Tomozaki. She has a close friendship with Mimimi who is her polar opposite.

Hanabi has wavy short bob biscuit-colored hair, brown mocha eyes, and a childish face. She is short in stature.
Personality[]
Hanabi is stubborn and blunt by nature, and she says what she feels and what she thinks without much thought into it. Oftentimes, it makes her disliked or targeted for this.
Story Overview[]

Hanabi first appears on the economics class with Fumiya Tomozaki, Minami Nanami, and Shuuji Nakamura who are asking whites the word between them, and she feels pressured over this decision, making her very uncomfortable. Her blunt nature often leaves her disliked. Once, it got her into trouble as she openly condemned Erika Konno's actions of harassment and bullying, thus making her the target of bullying herself.

Name Origin[]
- The name Hanabi means "firework/fireworks" (花火).
- Her nickname Tama means "many" (多) (ta) and "chafe, rub, polish, grind, scrape" (摩) (ma).
- Her nickname "Tama-chan" comes from the fact that her actual first name "Hanabi" means "fireworks" (花火) and a common cheer among Japanese people at fireworks festivals is to say tamaya.
- Her nickname Tama means "many" (多) (ta) and "chafe, rub, polish, grind, scrape" (摩) (ma).
- Hanabi's surname Natsubayashi means "summer" (夏) (natsu) and "forest" (林) (hayashi/bayashi).
