Yuzu gets along well with Fumiya as he teaches her how to play Attack Families, so she can be Shuuji's practice partner. Yuzu was the first person that Fumiya talked to and Yuzu happily talked to him, they quickly became friends, Yuzu can get annoyed with Fumiya as he like others in the group likes teasing her, Fumiya teased her for getting embarrassed over something that she brought up and she told him to shut it showing how close they are, despite their close friendship neither calls each other by there first name.

Yuzu has been friends with Shuuji. She also has a crush on him and is willing to learn to play Attack Families in order to become his practice partner. Eventually, Yuzu becomes Shuuji's girlfriend. After they became a couple, Yuzu took up sewing and knitted items for Shuuji like a tissue case.

Yuzu is friends with Erika and part of her clique. However, she dislikes conflicts, but is unable to go against Erika's unreasonable actions. Eventually, Yuzu stands up to Erika as she defends Shuuji and Fumiya from her.

Yuzu and Takahiro are friends. Takahiro teases Yuzu the most out of her friend group, but it is all in jest, like telling her to hurry and order before their food gets cold to which Yuzu responded with how could their food get cold if they hadn't ordered it. Takahiro is also a good friend to Yuzu and he tried to keep her safe from Erika as he knew that if Erika found put about Yuzu dating Shuuji, Erika would go after Yuzu, sadly Erika found out but Yuzu wasn't the target.
